BACKYARD QUEEN RAISING

Have you ever wondered how to graft and raise queens as a backyard beekeeper?  Adam will be sharing his learnings over the last 5 years learning to graft and raise queens in his suburban backyard apiary.  The system that he uses is easy to setup, easy to manage and produces a few queen cells each time.  He has gone from producing just a few cells a season to over 60 last year in his backyard.

The system Adam has adapted is one developed in America by Joseph Clemens and if you want to do some pre-reading and come armed with curly questions you can access a written description here:
STARTER/FINISHER QUEEN REARING Based on JOSEPH CLEMENS 5F NUC,
from the April 2025 Smoke Signals Newsletter.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, our Monthly Meetings are the perfect place to connect with fellow beekeepers in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.

Enjoy the opportunity to meet, learn, and share experiences with others who share your passion for beekeeping.

So, bring your questions, stories, and enthusiasm!

We look forward to seeing you there.
